You name the fare. Drivers keep all of it.

Barabar is ride hailing with zero commission. Offer a price, a verified driver accepts or counters, and you pay them in cash. No surge, ever. Drivers pay one flat day pass instead of losing a cut of every ride, so they say yes to fair offers.

Free on Android. Starting in Pakistan. For adults 18+.

How a ride works

Three taps. One fair price.

1

Say where.

Pick your drop-off. The app routes the trip and shows a fair fare for bike, rickshaw, car or car with AC.

2

Name your price.

Nudge the fare up or down. Drivers nearby see it and accept, counter, or pass. You pick the driver you like: photo, car, plate, rating.

3

Ride and pay cash.

Follow the car on the map, share the trip with family, and hand the driver the fare at the end. They keep all of it.

For drivers

Poora kiraya, aap ka.

Other apps take 10 to 20% of every ride. Barabar takes nothing from the fare. You buy a day pass from your balance and keep 100% of what riders pay you.

  • 14 days free when you join, 7 more for every driver you bring
  • Day pass: Rs 99 bike · Rs 149 rickshaw · Rs 249 car
  • Accept the rider’s price or send yours. Skip anything you don’t like
  • Sign up in four minutes with your CNIC, licence, vehicle and a selfie

The maths, 15 car rides a day at Rs 500

Commission app at 15%

− Rs 1,125

Barabar day pass

− Rs 249

That’s about Rs 26,000 more a month in your pocket.

Safety

Verified drivers. Live trips.

Every driver is checked before their first ride. Riders see who’s coming before they accept, can share the live trip on a link that opens without the app, and have SOS one tap away.

  • CNIC, licence, vehicle and selfie on file for every driver
  • Share my trip: live map, driver and plate, for anyone with the link
  • SOS dials police (15) or Rescue 1122
  • Women-only option on both sides
  • Three reports pause an account until it’s reviewed

No surge, no games

The fare guide never spikes.

Rain, Eid, 2 a.m.: the guide fare stays the same. If you’re in a hurry you can raise your offer, and that money goes to the driver, not to us.

  • Save drivers you like. Regulars see your requests first
  • Bring your driver from another app with your invite link
  • Your number is shared only during the ride

Questions

How much does a ride cost?

You decide. The app shows a fair-fare guide based on distance and time (about 10% under the big apps, with no surge), and you offer what you want to pay. Drivers accept or send a counter-offer. You pay the driver directly in cash at the end.

How does Barabar make money if there’s no commission?

Drivers pay a flat day pass to be online: Rs 99 for bikes, Rs 149 for rickshaws and Rs 249 for cars. That’s it. Whether a driver does 3 rides or 30, we take nothing from the fare. A driver doing 15 rides a day at Rs 500 pays other apps around Rs 1,000 a day in commission. On Barabar, Rs 249.

Is it safe?

Every driver uploads their CNIC, licence, vehicle photo and a selfie before going online, and riders see the selfie, plate and rating before accepting. You can share your live trip with anyone on a link (no app needed), and SOS calls 15 or 1122 in one tap. Three independent reports pause an account automatically.

Can I ride only with women drivers?

Yes. Women can turn on “Women only” in their profile. Riders then only see offers from women drivers, and women drivers can choose to see only women riders.

Do drivers need to pay anything to start?

No. Every new driver gets 14 days online free, and 7 more days for each driver they invite who signs up. Top-ups after that go through Safepay: cards, JazzCash, Easypaisa or bank transfer.

Where does it work?

We’re starting in Pakistan: Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Karachi first. The app works wherever drivers are online near you, and a new city opens the day its first drivers sign up.

What does Barabar mean?

Equal. It’s what people say when a deal is fair: barabar ho gaya.

Fair fares. Full earnings.
